The Bear's name is Fou. I wonder if this was during the war. That high bike does not appear to have any tires on it's rims. I have the remains of this bicycle in my shop it came to me via Bucky the Steel.

I believe that I saw this bike

when Emil was on the Beatty show

in the early 60s when he also

had a HARD to start motorcycle

at that time the high bike had

hard rubber tires mounted

In the 80s I saw him again as a

local stagehand in San Antonio

at the Majestic theater when I

came through with a touring show

Hannah and Emil are my great-grandparents from my dads side. I grew up with the bears always around the family and traveling with the circus as a child. Just want to say thank you for posting pics of them.
