The small stages on the ends are on the track and would be taken down for the spec and horse numbers, races, etc. in the later part of the show. It would take 1500-1600 people to move all of this doing one day stands.

I recently gave away the last 2
of those oval floods as shown
hanging from the quarter poles
The largest tent I have had the privlage of working under was in the late 60's.It was Circo Atayde Hnos in Mexico.
An eight mast, bridle peaks, two sets of quarter poles; a three ringer. It was new canvas to boot.
The proprietors at the time were Don Andres and brother Aureleo Atayde. Both true gents.
I am sure this is longer.I only wish I could have seen the likes of this one.
The largest top I've ever been
in is Franz Czeisler's "Tihany
Spectaular" that plays much of
South America
I don't recall the dimensions
but almost half of it covers
the backstage area and the rest
is for the enormous stage and
seating for about 3800 I think
The entire production is the
most incredible touring show
This top would hold about 10,000 and they always had an extra wagon of chairs if it look like they had a large crowd.
