The New Paperback Edition Of Spangles Is Out.

Check it out on amazon.com. Dr. Mort Gamble wrote the back cover copy and Victoria has named a litany of circus fans who have helped promote the book the first go-around (not forgetting to advertise the circus fans.org Web site for membership purposes). Aside from the new front and back cover design, a list of blurbs from notables in the business appear on the first three pages: Frank Robie, Don Covington, David Orr, (Grandma) Barry Lubin, Gary Payne, Evi Kelly-Lentz, Dr. Rodney Huey, Dr. Mort Gamble, John Goodall, (Executive Editor, Sarasota Magazine) Kay Kipling, to name a few.

The publisher has submitted the newly-polished manuscript for formal copyright and an independent Kirkus Review (whose professional opinion is highly regarded in the literary marketplace). A vigorous campaign to relaunch the work, targeting a vast general audience, is underway.

Note Victoria's plea: For those who care to purchase Spangles from the amazon.com website (the best source) please take the time to rate the work and to enter a brief comment. Customer reviews are very helpful in persuading potential readers to either make the purchase or pass. Your effort will be greatly appreciated. (Although the old version is out of print, there are a few paperback copies still available on the amazon site.)

Bare in mind, no circus book to date has presented the case to keep animals the circus arena more succinctly than Spangles, Elephants, Violets & Me and author, Victoria Cristiani Rossi, is determined to convey her views on the animal issue throughout the campaign.
