Assuming this is Carin then this
should also be her 2nd husband
I had met him several times but
can't remember his 1st name
I believe his last name was
Mortenson and he was killed
by a truck on the shoulder of
a road as he was assisting a
stranded motorist
He was a great guy and this
was a tragic loss
Although Carin has been through
more than her share she remains
upbeat & outgoing
His name was Pete. A helluva nice guy, that everybody liked! It was a tragedy when he was killed!
Carins first husbands name was Larry French, if I remember correctly. I believe he ended up passing away from cancer.
Carin has had her share of tragedies but last time I saw her she was still lovely & vibrant as always!

It's Mortensen not Mortenson
But still can't remember his
1st name (bothers me)
DAREDEVIL EPCOT CIRCUS are indeed the CRISTIANI ELEPHANTS w/Vickie Cristiani Rossi sister, Carin and her second husband, Pete Mortenson.....who was indeed killed by a truck on I-75 near Tampa upon reurning home from a date.
"SPANGLES, Elephants, Violets and Me" by Vickie Cristiani Rossi,the circus story about real elephants and the circus world. SPANGLES has just been re-released with additions, corrections and a new book jacket...One of the best circus books that has been published in years....AMAZON the easy way to locate the book....
So sorry to hear about Buckles...But if he can beat those Old People I feel he will be alright....The Circus World needs our Buckles...Please keep us posted...
Thank You to Buckles and to whom ever sent in the Photo's of Pete and I. He was the love of my life and a most heartfelt tragic loss to anyone who knew and loved him. He's thought of and missed each and everyday of life.
