Don't know why they wasted all that money on spec wardrobe for the elephant men when they could have gotten some jogging gear in the Sports Dept. at Wall-Mart. I didn't see the show in 1970 but I did the following year and if I'm not mistaken Dickie Chipperfield was aboard this first howdah carried by "Siam".
GUYS!, GUYS!, How can you be so "crass", as to insinuate the Felds replaced Don Foote style wardrobe with,"Walmart". This is a class orginization, "The Greatest Show On Earth", an appropriate credit in the program should read, Costume Design,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, by,"Spandex" Wardrobe,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, From,"Sports Authority"!

The elephant leading Siam was David Ramage from Chicago. He also repaired the head pieces.
