By the time we got there the operation was already in progress and afterward the Doctor said that it went well. Sounds like Ben got a complete overhaul and should be good for another 10,000 miles. |

Great news. Modern medicine is pretty amazing. Best wishes Ben for a speedy recovery. I'll be looking for the photos.
I had a complete overhaul several years ago and all is well. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I have been away from the blog for the last several days, spending time with my 91 year old Aunt in GA. (Shopping and running around.. yep, she is a great old girl and lots of fun!) So, I have been away from the blog news since last Friday...and then tonight I just read about Ben and his heart surgery. I was so shocked. We are so glad and thankful to God and the surgeons that he came thru this real well. He and his family, Barbara, Buckles and all of your family are in our thoughts and prayers for Ben to continue to get better, stronger and healthier. That had to be very very scary for you all. Ben, I am praying that you have a speedy recovery. I just had the same thing done November 5th, so I know what you have just gone through. As soon as you can, take your dancing partner (your IV pole) and get up and walk the hallway, it really helps. It can only get better from here on out. Best wishes to everyone.
