HOw many cats did Guy Gossing work? Also where did he start his circus career at?
I recall Gossings lion act before he went to tigers and that he sold the tiger act to the Schmidt family to be presented by Eddie Schmidt.
I recall Eddie's proper first name was Edca (or like that)
Any other recollections of that?
This Shrine Circus was probably produced by M & M Circus Internationale (Grace McIntosh and Chuck Marine). The ring curbs look familiar as I unloaded and loaded them many times. He would have played this date after Rochester, as one of the three dates M & M had after Orrin davenport died. The other one was Lincoln,NB.
Loading his cat semi was not the easiest in the snow (typical of circus week here).
