As I recall there was a son who later became a well known juggler and knife thrower.

No, these are not the Pete Pierce family. I think you will find them to be Chief Keyes, his wife Tilly and their daughter Mary, who would become Mary Thorn, wife of Electrician, mechanic and bull hand Whitey Thorn.
