It took Shaq standing in front of Tommy to make Tommy look like a regular sized elephant.
Is Williston still active, if so, why aren't all the RBBB elephants together?
Geo Hanneford told me, when TOMMY was first with RBBB under the publicity powerhouse: Tommy has appeared at every major Shrine date AT LEAST TWICE and now that he's with Ringling the American public is going to "see" him for the first time.

Although technically not a Shrine date, you should add Montreal to your "extensive" list. Unless you relish being "smote by the hammer of Thor C. Hall".
Anybody doing date's in the midwest right now, is "trouping" in the purest sense of the word. God bless them. I don't remember seeing this much snow, and I've lived in this neck of the wood's all my life. I bet the Col. misses Minnesota about now. NOT.

Word around the carden show is your son Adam will be here by Miwaukee playing out the rest of the season. Any truth to that?
Can someone please explain to me why the tusks in pix #1, #2 and # 4 are pretty much the same and the tusks in pix #3 are so different? Especially as the background in pix #2 and #3 appears to be the same. Steve Robinson.

As my wonderful son Adam is rather quiet, plus he has worked on that "cute and charming" deal longer then me, I am going to go out on a limb here, and assume you are waiting for a response from me.
Here's what you do. Hold your breath until you get the response. While I love a heated debate with a passion, and I will take a walk on the wild side now and again to learn the truth, YOUR NUT"S!!!! I'm not going anywhere near that. Slam, lock, bolt.

mr. Burck, with all due repect, you are the first one to stoke fires if you will, but when the fires burn so close to home, you'll have nothing to do with it. I have seen both Adam's and the Juergen and Judit's acts and Love both of them, however, you have to admit, just like anyone else who has ever seen the interatctions, between Mr. Carden and Juergen and Judit, that their relationship i not quite as smooth asit should be for parties that have worked together as long as they have!

For the record. Sorry, it had nothing to do with to close to home. I just assumed in a short time, somebody "less informed" would offer a knowledgeable opinion based on fact's, rather then "good ole boyism's." Thank you for your input, but I can recall another "party" that had a longer, some would say "loving" relationship with the same show, that would continue today if it were available.(Get busy guessing, people. You can relax, Sylvia) Apparently bird's of a feather, do flock together. I appreciate the kind word's about Adam. I am very proud of him.

Are you happy now? Is that what you wanted? My son Adam's Godfather is a respected member of the CFA and a Shriner and historically I have been know to jostle and shove with them on occasion. People very dear to me have both competed and judged at MC. So as you can see, I don't flinch from much, when it come's to the fact's and "cute and charming" has never held much importance for me.
In this situation, there is nobody in the world closer to it then myself. That's why I stayed away from it. I would suggest to you, that a half dozen conversation's a couple of times a year, will not give you as much insight into the personalities involved as 24 hr. a day exposure will. No disrespect.
Case in point. Again, I appreciate that you like Adam's act. But unless you have lived with him and asked him to help wash the dishes, or take out the garbage, you will never know how miserable he can be. I don't know if I know you or not. I know a lot of Dan's. I's the "h" I'm drawing a blank on. It is rather "ominous", bordering on "anonymous".

The major shrine date question is mute to me NOW, as i have thought about it coming up with a good list of several.
Point taken. I have enjoyed Adam's act in laCrosse, Wi and hayward, Wi later in 2006. your welcome. i have also been to three seperate dates in three seperate seasons where the Nerger's were present, and they and Mr. Carden openly argued, each being heated and pertaining to different things each time. Hibbing, MN in 2005, Minneapolis in 2006, and my home town of Duluth in 2007. I was told, without asking, that this is frequent and has ended up with them being temporarly replaced with Adam. If Justin is indeed the Justin who handles ewlephants and works props for Carden (only Justin i know on the show, that would be interested in commenting, though if you are on a show you don't have to ask pepople off the show, for info like that.)he is the one who told me that, and was seconded by prop guys, grooms, and other performers!
As far as my identity, i am, like many blog faithfuls, irratated by anonymous posters and will never be. my name is Dan, I am a booking agent and what you may call a backdoor rat, visiting 10-12 circuses in the upper midwest, some times the same show twice, or Carden in 2007, 5! I tag my posts with Dan H, not becasue i don't want my idenity revealed, but becasue i feel thats all thats needed, Buckles signs with Buckles, we know who he is, Bill Strong with 24hour man, you with Wade G. Burck this is important as i would hate to mistake you for Wade W. Burck or Wade G. Burke!

doesnt George Carden usually change his cage acts between Madison and Milwaukee? Last time I saw the show inan Milwaukee in 1994 it was Bruno. And since then The German couple. Does anybody remember who the cage act was in Madison from 2000 to 2003 and who the cag act was in Milwaukee between 2000 and 2003.

Pete, Carden closes Danville, IL on the Tuesday the 12th, and opens Madison on friday the 15th. He then does 2 days in laCrosse and opens Milwaukee on the Thursday the 21st.
Dan; who were the cage acts between 2000 and 2003 they were different each year in Madison and Milwaukee. He used to do a date in Tenn before Madision. Pete
