From KLSDAD

Buckles,
Question.. are any of you in this shot.. or were
you there?? Should be easy with a dual elephant
and cannon shot. Who are on the elephants? Who's
on the cannon... what is .............(never mind Stan!)

This is the 128th edition (1998-99). It doesn't rank among my favorite productions of all time but it was still an enjoyable offering. It was the first time I really noticed the downsizing of the production wardrobe. It featured the return of Michu and the "sideshow" opening production, a really unique trampoline act by the Torosiants, a 3 ring hair hanging display by the Ayala sisters, The Quiros highwire act and a double cannon finales with Mark Myers and Vesta Gueschkova. Daniel Raffo worked the cage act following Richard Chipperfield's accident during the St. Petersburg engagement.

On a side note, the New York Times ran an interesting article in 1998 on the high-tech sound and lighting systems used on the show that year...technology which now often seems to BE the show.

Send in the clowns!!
In my photo commentary where I say "never mind...
Stan"... I was incorrectly referring to Stan Laurel..
I should have used.. "never mind Lou..(or Bud")
in conjuring up the "Who's-On-First" Abbott/Costello routine.
That'll teach me!!

Just in case anyone cares, on the right side elephant is Pat Harnad, and the top of the left one is the Mighty Daniel Raffo. with myself ,and Sonny Riddle at the wheel.
also flying from the Cannon were a clown ,and a showgirl,If you are looking for there names try the program from the side show tour....
I did not spend much time in Cannon Ally.

He's up at the Stud Farm.
