As I've mentioned here long ago, it was after several memorable, quiet evening visits with Mrs. A.W. Kinnard at Jungleland, that Dick McGraw told me I had been talking with Dorothy Herbert.

I worked liberty horses with her and my father in three rings on the big King show. She was a sharp gal and did the press, radio and TV on show day. Frequently she would have myself and Ernie Burch do spots. She never talked about herself and her early career, but about the show she was PR ing. Nice person. Stayed to herself. Nobody could figure out how she could live with no talent wind bag AW Kinnard.
