Unidentified pictures from Joey Ratliff

Balanchine, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

I am hoping to get some info on the elephant men in these photos. The first photo, I think I recognize George Balanchine, which would make this Ringling's "Elephant Ballet" season 1942.
The last photo being the Conklin Shows in Canada 1942, I'll guess this is Bill Woodcock on the bally with "Empress" or "Modoc".
The others, I have guessed on but I don't know, so I will leave it to you. Thanks for the help.
Joey

Isn't that the inside set of the movie Billy Rose's JUMBO? Wouldn't that make the elephant ROSIE?
Just a hunch.

It might be. My first thought was that this isn't a Ringling bull tub.

"Rosie" was in the stage version of JUMBO.
The elephants used in the movie were
"Sidney", "Anna May" and "Hattie" from Beatty-Cole.

Jumbo the movie was in the early 60's. Yes, and that elephant tub is all "dolled up" to be in a movie. A paint job that light would never make it on a season. Also note the red and white circular drape/cover. The floor is not an outdoor locale.
The great circus mystery continues!

The fellow on the right appears to be big shot MGM executive and big elephant fan Frank Whitbeck responible for the Tarzan movie baby elephants and instrumental in "Jupiters Darling" and "Jumbo" movies at MGM.
