Is this the same "Bessie" that was on the Beatty Show and is now living in Valdosta,GA? I know she was on Sells & Gray, before that, just not sure if it could have been another "Bessie"

Thanks!

This is indeed the same person who was prop boss for Garden BROS. FOR MANY YEARS. nOW RETIRED HERE IN sARASOTA. He also had the Diano elephants including Tommy for a time. A nice fellow and respected by all of his fellow show guys and girls.

Frank Daily
Was on Sells & Gray in 1967 prior to that I believe he worked Tony Diano's bulls between Jimmy Odell And Lee Keener. I also strongly believe Ian Garden knows him.

Frank had the elephants on Sells and Gray in the first season it was on the road, 1962, when the show had three elephants, and also worked the sells and gray elephants at the circus hall of fame in the winter season 1962/63. by then, the show only had two elephants (anna may and bessie) everybody on the show thought he was a great person and respected him greatly

Frank Dailey was one of the greatest prop bosses, I ever had the pleasure of working with. I am forever grateful for his assistance, when we were doing 3 show day's, one day stand's, to cover for oversold date's, about 1976 or 1977. Wade Burck

I dont know if this blog is still active but the years of the Anna-May and Bessie were 1964, 65,66. I was with Sells and Gray then. Frank was the Bull trainer and prop Boss. A big guy named Abner was the Big Top boss, And Paul Hudson along with his wife Chris was the GM. Some of the big acts were Johnny Golden with the big cats, the Padrolas Mom, Dad, and daughter Dagmar (Whom I was in love with) The Ring Master was a Guy name Larry I believe His wife had and act Carmen Del Mileno I held the web for her during her act.
Anyway it is really cool to find this blog after all these years.
Thank You Michael Hogan

Frank was my mentor in my youth, he was like a father to me. Last I saw of him he was on his way to retirement. I'm wondering if he is still with us.
