Sells & Gray Circus #2

Scan10056, originally uploaded by bucklesw1.

Another 6/10/67 Schuler picture.

This reminds me of the old saying, "How was business in Jacksonville", "We died the death of a dog!"

I was with Sells and Gray the year Paul Hudson took over I believe 1964. Paul was the GM, his wife Chris had a bunch of poodles in the show. The Bulls were Anna-May and Bessie with Frank Daily in charge, he was also Prop Boss. The big top boss was little Abner. Cat trainer of the time was Johnny Golden (I worked the chute for him). Ring Master was Named Larry his wife had a high balance bar act, Carmen Del Mileno I believe it was. There were also the Pedrolas Mom, Dad and daughter Dagmar (Whom I was in love with). I believe the next year was with Bill English his daughter Kathy I think and Paul and Chris Hudson.
Any of you that may or may not know Paul went on to manage the Blue Unit of the Ringling Show. Paul passed away in New Orleans of a Heart Attack while still with Ringling.
Anyway great great memories that I ad forgotten. Loved my time with the shows.
