This is a nice photo its just a shame we cannot see all of the 4 elephants, the elephants are from the German trainer Rene Casselly, this is a photo of many acts he does with this group. Maybe someone could send more photos would be interesting to start some nice comments going about African elephants.

I believe this is not a very handsome trick to show off the horses and the elephants, in fact it appears the horses are mounting the elephants for other purposes. Actually the elephants are not doing anything but just standing there and not in a very organized manner. So much again in African training. I have done this trick with elephant, pony, dog combination but I always had the elephant in a half stretch salute [bak legs down and forelegs up with left front saluting]. pony or horse can stand in a more comforting position and the elephant is actually doing something

As a side note it was a beautiful sight recently seeing the Asian elephants on the Red Show. Thats what I call circus elephants. No camparison to the other specie.
