I have a video of Anna May working, on her own and one withe her at the front of the RBBB. group, FANTASTIC! Please more pictures ,
It is respectable, honorable and appropriate to have this memorial to an animal who was so well loved by her human family.
Some pachyderm stars may have been bigger in size, but none had a bigger name. What a beautiful place for Anna May to rest in peace.
I did have the privilege of seeing Anna May perform several times. She had to be the best trained elephant I ever saw. She did the act with very little prompting, almost like she would go into autopilot when doing so. The footage of the act on the Ed Sullivan show proves that. You have my condolences Buckles, Anna May sure was a big part of your life and a true member of your family. It must have been a wonderful experience for you, your children and grandchildren to grow up around Anna May.
