Pat, Barney Mcdermott just brought me back from therapy, and while I'm still feeling bubbly and gay, I would like to take this opportunity to agree with you, for once. (But only this one time, okay) She is truely, The one and only, the like's of which may never pass this way again. The only difference between Gunther and GeeGee, in their prime, was the obvious physical one. Wade Burck
No kidding? I thought it was eight- your information makes this TWICE as impressive! Did she drive them over a hurdle too? I'm pretty sure I remember her telling me that... either way, a spectacular acheivment.
I remember it well. They went flying in the back door, turned right, went Hell bent for leather around the track (the band played "Galop Go")and then back out headed for the horse tent with the grooms running along trying to slow them down. A short number but after they had left, the audience went, WHEW!

Wade, Wade. I've come up with 101 zingers for why your therapy makes you feel that way, but I'm not going to go there. It's just too easy.
p.s. thanks for this photo, Buckles. Gee Gee looks like a movie star too.
As I'm sure everyone knows, Gee Gee drove a sixteen horse hitch.

Eight teams driven by Gee Gee, roman riding the last team.
She's the very best. I've been a devoted admirer and fan since meeting her in 1965. As Pat says, what an inspiration, indeed.
To Pat White,
I would appreciate it if you could email me directly. I have a couple questions to ask.
