O.K. Buckles, don't comment on last night and then tell us nothing! You and John need to tell us the good, and the bad!
Carl
Wonderful evning in a great setting. Each inductee represented the diverse fields of circus, but all three were certainly deserving to be recognized and certainly responded with great and fascinating accounts of their careers and thought. They could'nt have been more gracious. At the commities request for a short video to enhance the knowledge of each recipient they all responded with the time and effort to get it done. The idea being that right before we introduced them the audience could sit for five minutes or so in seeing them doing their thing. Unfortunately we were overuled by the head of the circus part of the complex and insisted they be shown as a come in and blow off, so on the come in as everone filed in they were completely not given the attention deserved and enjoyed and on the blow off everyone was so busy greeting and paying respects that once again they were not given the attention thet deserved. Too bad because it would have made our annual event just a little bit bigger and better.
We will be making videos of Gee Gee Engesser available in the near future. The video will include the 5 minute biography that was played prior to her induction along with the actual induction ceremony and news coverage of the event. The video is in the process of being edited and authored on a DVD. Once the materials are assembled we will determine the cost of producing and shipping the DVD to interested parties.
Anyone interested in requesting a DVD please acknowledge by repsonding to this blog.
