I think I'd prefer to be on my feet with this fellow in front of me!

Do we know when this was taken? and how is he related to Flavio Tongi?

What a magnificent, tough male. I envy Mr. Togni this guy.

The picture was taken between 1963 and 1966 at Circus Heros, the Togni family circus that later changed name in "Americano". The brothers Bruno, Enis and Willy were the three owners. Flavio is Enis' son. I posted las week some pictures of Willy.
Bruno lions act terminated in 1966, when he was very seriously injured in Kufstein, Austria. He then concentrated on his group of 19 elephants and on the three rings of horses of his circus.

Seriously injured ?
Did it have anything to do with getting on his knees in front of a charging lion ?
