Every once in awhile this monster would do a scheduled matinee only. Thats right. They would put the whole thing up for one performance. They used to do it close to our home in Mankato, Minnesota. Jumping out of the twin cities enroute to probably Des Moine. People would walk around the lot just to see everthing and guys would be so impressed just to see the line up of all the heavy equpment necessary to move the show. Usually parked on the off side of the big top. We know of the same situation back in the baggage stock days when they could see some 300 head of mostly percheron horses. Hard to believe but its true. WOW.
