RBBB 1955 "Smokey" #5

I took these last 4, poor quality pictures myself with a Polaroid camera when I visited Smokey in Chicago, while the show was playing the Soldiers Field parking lot.
You will notice the Bill Ballentine designed fold-outs over the five ticket wagons. Posted by Picasa

Never saw the Ringling show under canvas -not because of youth, unfortunately, just location. That is a mighty impressive front end with 5 ticket wagons. Was it this big right to the end? cc

Does any one have a better picture of the sign on the left hand side of the ticket wagons? or what does it say on it?

Its was big till the end and I marveled at how it moved most every day the logistics is mind boggeling

CIRCUS
IT COMES TO YOUR TOWN
COMPLETE IN ALL ITS
VAST IMMENSITY
