Aparently the large Caterpil1ar generator in this wagon was new for that year. I have a photo of #51 taken in 1945 that shows 3 smaller generators mounted cross-wise in the wagon.
Buckles, these types of photos are of great interest to many of your readers. Running a series in consecutive days is a good idea!
To J. Cole : Visiting the Paul Kelly sale in Peru, the Cole show generator wagon was sporting Detroit powered units. could this unit also be Detroit powered ? Three fuel filters viewable suggests that ????
Dear Old Texan, I suppose they could be Detroits. I have some other photos of it that I will print up and send to Buckles to use the next time he does a series on Cole Bros. Then maybe we can score 30+ comments over that!
