It is interesting how the lion on the back wall looks as though he is sitting on the closer pedestal and is a dwarf lion!

Notice beside the seated lion is a section with a specially placed spreader, giving that folding seat the desired height. This was accomplished by placing two flats inside and outside the bars, and bolting them together, not through the bar pipes, but between each bar.

Notice anything else funny? Behind Mr. Beatty is both a spare man-door, and beside it a spare animal gate. Random, otherwise out-of-place sections like this are seen in some of his winter date photos, also.

In 1964, we carried a new, unpainted animal gate section on top of 78 Cat Wagon/Sleeper. Popeye Scott told me this section took a beating like no other in major hey rubes. Thus the wisdom of the back-up gate.
