To Jimmy Cole

Some time ago when I was running pictures of the Al G. Barnes blow-down in Montana, my Blog started showing ads for hotels in Montana.
On the occasion of Fred Logan's death, with the word "funeral" mentioned so often, Funeral Parlor ads popped up.
Now with PETA being bandies about, we will see that august organization promoted for a while.
Shannon says the computer is simply programmed to react in this fashion but in a twist of fate they will actually be providing a slight stipend on this end.
I shouldn't be surprised to see an ad for "Middle aged women's tennis shoes".

Keep mentioning PETA and let's all keep clicking on their ads on the blog. Everytime we click the ad PETA PAYS BUCKLES. Let's take those rat bastards for everything they got.

Buckles , I wasn't sure where to put this -- refers to an aryicle on Ben's site , but I think what I'm saying belongs here -- I remember Buckles saying that he loves his job, when he was at C.W.M. - I can count others who have said this to me on one hand and still have fingers left over -- Ben posted an article about how the C.B. circus was " Visited" and how well the animals were found to be -- I think I'm the only one who can write this -- Buckles , those elephants being cared for , reflect your teaching to elephant handlers in general , and the one on Carson Barnes in particular -- Randy grew up working with and for many teachers -- George , Joe ,Bobby , and others , but you were the first one who planted the seed of how to handle elephants -if it wasn't for you, taking nothing away from Randy , maybe that article wouldn't have been written the way it was -- in effect the student learned because the teacher has taught -- and these ripples will be seen over the years -- I'm very proud of Randy , but I'm also proud of his relationship with you , and all you taught him -- Thanks Buckles , much more than you and Barbara will ever know -- And now back to my Fred McMurry persona -- Slick and Slim await me !

The way the ads work is the computer scans the TEXT of the BLOG and then finds appropriate ads.

So when People Eating Tasty Animals is mentioned the computer system chooses their ads. And other ads of the same "subject"

But they have several web sites and I can put a FILTER on them but only one at a time, and I stuff them as I see them. But unfortunately it's not 100% effective.

But look at the bright side when you think about it.....AR Nuts financially supporting this BLOG. Now that is funny.

Was FIRST P E T A the full name of the org. John H started? I have never owned a pair of tennis shoes in my life. Thats all you see now a days. They will take my 3 inch heels off my dead, cold feet when I die. I even gave up my strapped water shoes when they made elephant shoes for buckleys crew to put on those poor elephants. [TEVA] What happen to her speal about that great TENN dirt? Must be all in her heart and mouth. Just like peta.

A well known friend of mine tells me that the funniest occurrence on the Blog is when he sees a Ken & Nicole ticket ad on one side of the page and comments on how awful the show is on the other.
