Shannon's newest invention!

Shannon has added a new feature to the Blog Site. If you click on "Magic Lantern Show" in the left column, you will see a listing of previous film clips he has edited as well as a new addition.
A montage of 1950 Kelly-Miller pictures accompanied by a narration by yours truly.

Naturally I haven't figured it out yet! I have been compareing this picture of Buckles to the one on Bills blog site this morning. Buckles wins by a mile, but then again I might be preduce.[?] I know I spelled that wrong. You should have seen what my first spelling was.!! And at my age too.

Wonderful! Absolutely wonderful!

I must be getting old because I had tears in my eyes watching Anna May.
At the rate things are going we'll probably never see this artistry again.

Thaks for the comments -

Johnny..when the message pops up just click "OK" and it should play or you could always use a hammer.

I've been working on dad for some time to do this - pretty much for the stories - the images going across and the music are icing on the cake but it's the stories thats the meat & potatoes that have to be told.

FANTASTIC...and it didn't involve a 24 foot video screen. [wink, wink]

Thanks, Buckles and Shannon. Anna May was the first elephant I ever rode, that day we opened in Sacramento with Sid Kellner, Friday, September 27, 1968. And no one who ever saw Opal could forget her. Thanks for returning these memories.

Shaz , you never fail to amaze --- this can only open up more and more circus history for everybody -- Buckles , keep him on staff -- he'll get you a T.V. show !! GREAT JOB !

I have got to figure out how to make my speakers work! I plug them in, turn them on and nothing happens. Just figured out how to work the DVD. Stoped a cable guy passing the house and ask him. Simple. All those remote controlers scare me. I must have a dozen. Even the fans for the animals came with these remote controls. Only have one door to throw them out of. Give me the simple life!! I put a cat tape in the TV for the cats at bed time. After an hour it turns its self off. It amazes me that they actually watch the thing every night. I change the tape every three days. The dogs don't have a dog tape so they watch that old "ALIAN" tape that William Shatner made.

Wonderful bit of work, The low bandwidth option made it a pleasure to play with even here on the road in yesterday's town.
