Watch now with anxious anticipation and amazement as our shimmering, sparkling, sequined sensations enhancing the equilibristic eloquence of the enrapturing elephantine exhibition, elevate and elonagate across the arena floor as prepared, performed and presented by the Worldly acclaimed Woodcock family! It just doesn't get much better than this. Thanks, Buckles and Barbara!

Is Minyak the 3rd elephant back?

No Minyak is in the lead at left.

Someone should send a copy of this photo to all the high falutin writers, directors and production people who put together this year's Blue ringless show. This year's long mount had an astonishing 5 elephants. Where is the world going?

I was thinking of the previous picture.
In this long mount there were 19 elephants and I can only make out the first seven.
"Anna May", "Peggy", "Carmen", "Mudu", "Hugo", "Zina" and "Rebecca".

Wasn't Gilda the sixth elephant back?

If memory serves me correctly, the first eight elephants should be my center ring act plus "Anna May", "Mudu" and "Rebecca".
Then "George" followed by the two end ring 5-acts. Memories can be tricky tho. "Bonnie", "Billy" and "Charlie" were excluded.
Incidently, this is not the same "Peggy" that I later retired to Riddles Sanctuary.

I remember one year at dress rehearsal, spec was going on and the tigers were on their seats and the mesh arena started to come down. On one side it was almost as low as the tigers heads. Of course, a whole cadre of suited types went charging down the track and helped haul it back in place. Would have been quite an even if the whole cage full had been loose amongst the spec.

As W.C. Fields once said, "In Sioux Falls the crowd was so big they couldn't applaud this way (horizonally) they had to applaud this way (vertically) and they couldn't laugh Ho! Ho! Ho! they had to laugh Hee! Hee! Hee!
I just received a current review of the Blue Show, it should pop up any time now.
