Mac MacDonald #5

This is William Woodcock Sr. with the Terrell Jacobs Circus on the Conklin Shows in Canada 1942. My dad pointed out that whenever doing this cross mount "Empress" and "Judy" locked trunks as seen above and mentioned that even on his first elephants, MacDonald was always trying different things.
I might add that this was Fred Logan's first circus, being a Canadian, he joined up as a teen-ager and worked for my dad. At the end of the season he stowed away in a shifting box and went to Peru.
