Beatty-Cole Circus


This is an interesting Beatty-Cole picture, from the angle it was taken the elephant looks 30' tall, no idea who the girl is, the elephant is probably "Pete".

Those unaware, Fred Logan had a serious operation Wednesday for internal bleeding. As far as I know he is recovedring and is in the Venice Hospital.

The girl in the photo is Jacquie, daughter of show co/owner Frank McClosky. Photo was probably taken in the late '70s

Since you explained to me about the elephant feet, that is the first thing I look at on an elephant when The bottoms are shown. This one could use a trim. All nails look good on the elephants. Being around horses I knew about changing shoes for different surfaces. They got more changes of shoes then I did.

Hey "A" I've been busy shoeing horses and riding in a little game we call Feedlot Sorting and my wife barrelraces. We go somewhere and compete every weekend.
