The classic combination of aerialist and contortionist. I saw the Rodry brothers (Araceli Bauman's father and uncle) on the Ringling Show in 1951 do a cradle act and complete a hand-to-hand pirouette as well as a hand-to-hand somersalt without a net or mechanic. I got the impression the audience didn't quite realize what they had just seen.
