Interesting event here yesterday. The elementary school gave away passes to the circus yesterday. RBBB Hometown opens their next tour here in Florence, SC in 10 days. PETA shows up outside the school with the elephant costume and coloring books and stickers to hand to all the cars as they are leaving. The police forced most drivers to keep moving and the school system said they would continue to pass out the passes each year as the circus was the type of FAMILY entertainment that they deserved to witness as children growing up. A couple interview clips with the PETA people but more coverage from the schools on a positive note.

The only thing that surprises me is that they have to give away passes to get an audience.

Now that I can look at these from home, It's truly a gift at how you handled yourself. You quietly positioned yourself between him and the door so he couldn't get around you to leave, kept his back to the wall so he HAD to stand there and talk to you, kept yourself dignified and calm at all times, and all the while he has his hand playing in one pocket and giving hand gestures with the other. You've really got him nervous. That's the sign of a true professional animal trainer there. Keeping a cool head fromthe start, focused on the matter at hand and thinking ahead at all times. Marvelous work!

Bob Cline, that was a brilliant obsevation. A fantastic example of 'management' management. Say Buckles, did you use liver snaps or 5 spots?
