1956-- On tear down day in Cleveland Otto, (who was said to be a tightwad) came to me and asked if I would carry his wardrobe (in a cardboard box tied with clothsline rope)to Rochester because the prop boss wanted too much to carry it in the prop truck. Two other clowns hearing this sked if I would also carry their steamer trunk & 2 flat trunks. Otto gave me $5.00, the other 2 never even said thanks.
