Paul Nelson was the youngest member of the famous Nelson family of acrobats. Here he is riding one of Mme. Bedini's horses. By the time I knew Paul on the Cole Show one of his sisters, Estralia, had married the owner of the show and another, Hilda, had married the manager. Mr. Terrell referred to Paul as "Little Jesus" and the fighter Jack Dempsey tagged him "Battling Nelson". I'm sure a lot of you remember Paul from the Mills Show.
