Mexico City Safari Park


Freddy Logan sent me this picture years ago saying that this was the Park in Mexico that the Beatty Show sent "Kate", "Bee" and "Gyp" to in 1974.
Seems that I recall that Gene Garner was at this place and it might be a nice picture for Rebecca but on closer inspection after cropping it down, I don't think it is.

I don't think this is Gene either Buckles. My heart did not do flip flops. Thanks for the thought. .. Today would be a good day for some kindness in my world. The Mellys got to me. Looseing a pet that you cared for for 16 years is never easy even when I usually have one or two pass every year. I still have 30 to care for.

Strange that todays blog seems to be about lost loved ones. Freddie Logan's loss is so sad. I remember he had a lot of kids on Kelly Miller. Walter and Mary Jo are the only two old enough to be remembered clearly. Mary Jo worked on some mounts on the young elephants, but I don't recall Walter ever being in any show. I think I saw a picture of a grand daughter posing with a cage act on CFA a while back.
