Von Bros. Circus 1965/ Elephants

This is Junior Clark who had worked these elephants "Dolly", "Blanche" and "Jewel" when they were on Hunt Bros. Circus. At this time he was at the Providence Zoo but would come by on occasion to touch them up.
Jimmy said that "Jewel" had taken a shot at Henry Vonderheid and that once when he saw the show they only worked two.
I have a book by Gusta Cruse on elephant training and in a master stroke of under statement he writes "On occasion an elephant might fetch you a cheeky whollop".

Was Blanche ever with the Blue Unit around 1969 or 1970?

Good morning George,
The last "Blanche" on the Ringling Show died in the dreadful Atlanta poisoning in November of 1941 in which 11 elephants perished.
She had been a long time with the American Circus Corporation and the one we see pictures of doing the head-carry with Cheerful Gardner.

When did Von Brothers acquire the three from Hunt?
