Sells-Floto Circus 1913/ Elephant runaway #2

For some reason the Floto Show had a long history of runaways, first major incident was in Riverside, California 4/16/08 when a Standard Oil warehouse a block from the lot exploded and the ensuing fire caused panic on the lot. Four elephants ran thru town resulting in the death of a local woman.
Again in 1926 while showing Cranbrook, B.C. four young elephants scattered into the Canadian Rockies and remained gone for several days. They were finally captured with the help of Indian guides but not before one of them had fallen from a cliff to her death.
Then on 8/31/28 another young elephant ran thru down town Lewiston, Idaho until she was shot and killed by the Mayor of the town who owned the garage she had demolished.
