Whenever I see old pictures of some of those stringers, jacks, and seatboards, then consider just how many people a show like Floto could shoehorn into the tent -- it's a wonder anybody survived the periodic grandstand collapse.

I'd agree with that, except that I think the whole field of personal injury law may have risen from the ashes of the 44' RBBB fire in Hartford. These days you almost want to take everyone by the hand when they buy a ticket and lead them to their seat to avoid a trip injury lawsuit.
