25 cents must have been very long ago

& they're damn big bags to boot

Ahhh fresh circus popcorn had

been an addiction of mine when

either Dennis or George would

fill a garbage bag of it for me

right from the popper

Chic...What a surprise and honor. Thanks for thinking of me. Vicki Kernan King (Mrs. Floyd King) King Bros. Circus encouraged me to go into concessions. I lived in Macon, Ga when the the King Show wintered at Central City Park ( now known as Carolyn Crayton Park). She was a major player in establishing the annual "Cherry Blossom Festival" held each March in Macon. Normally, a name change involves a deceased person but an exception was made in her case. Mrs. Floyd King had a floss stand of her own on the King Show and she wore very expensive clothing back then. So, guess it worked out for her. Thanks again for the mention....Great surprise....Needed that boost with all going on in the World today.

Dennis had come to the Beatty Show

when he was working for Dave Hoover

& George was 1 of Lois & Dave's sons

They both ended up in concessions

If memory serves, Bill Woodcock Sr. advised Buckles to go into concessions instead of performing.
