The one and only La Norma...Was privileged to see this act twice. Once at the old city auditorium, Atlanta, Ga and again at the the old Lakewood Fairgrounds, Atlanta, Ga.The late Dave Merrifield (sp) helicopter/trapeze act was also appearing. The night I went was extremely windy...La Norma's husband, Andre, told me that Dave who worked several hundred feet in the air under the helicopter....was inside with La Norma trying to talk out of performing due to the high winds. Needless to say, they both worked that night, being the troupers they were. Somehow, that always amused me...one thrill act trying to get another thrill act to not work.

The date in Atlanta, Ga at the old city auditorium (long gone) was a Howard Suez date. Of course, La Norma, closed the show.....A true thrill act....
