Doc was such a great guy. Every year in Milwaukee we would sit and have breakfast. About the time we were finishing up Tex Copeland would finally drag his butt out of bed and show up at cookhouse. He'd get a cup of coffee and bust my balls about why wasn't I doing any work and I'd get on him about how it must be nice to sleep till noon and Doc would sit there and laugh at the two of us. One time I was wandering around with Pat White and Doc joined us. Eventually we wandered near Pat's cat truck. Doc asked Pat if one of her cats had something. While they discussed the cats illness I stood there trying to even see the cats. Still can't figure out how Doc saw them!!!
