Kim Baer reminded me yesterday that her first time in an elephant act was with Barbara, who loaned her this zebra-striped ensemble. A duplicate was made, which Kim still has. Barbara left good memories wherever she worked. We first met on James Bros., in '69, in Seattle, where I had the Jungleland lions. She and Buckles came over and began jackpots as if we were old friends. That's how they are, and nothing of the friendship ever changed.
