Tina was a great lady on the 1981 Beatty show, the only year I knew her. She took a bad buster from her single trapeze in Merritt Island and went home to Sarasota. There, she was rehabilitated under the sterling direction of La Norma, and returned to her act later in the season. No audience appreciated her trouper's spirit more than the showfolks, who met her return with lasting respect and a standing ovation.

had been a show manager for the Acme
