In Bob Goldsack's book...Cetlin & Wilson Shows, one of America's great railroad carnivals....Paradise Revue Girl show was on the 1937 Midway. Sadly, no mention of Snooky Dewitt in the line up. On page 20 ..The Paradise Revue featured such exotic stars as Princess Olga, "the toast of New York and London Clubs doing her La Conga, the newest dance craze. Other acts included Mitsy Miller, a featured dancer and veteran of several motion pictures, singers, dancers, comedians and a chorus line. Paradise Revue was still on the C& W Midway into the mid forties. Margie Cetlin and Sadie Wilson (wives of Issy Cetlin and Jack Wilson (Show Owners) were partners in sveral business ventures including girl shows. CHIC: there is a photo of the girl show in the book with the ticket boxes showing the C&W logo you mentioned.
If it is the letter "S" maybe that kept the committee and church folks happy going from Nookey to Snooky.....How's that for thinking outside the box?????

Does that "CW" logo stand for Cetlin Wilson
Don't ask me. I'm looking for Nooky DeWitt.

Wait a minute. There's an "S" in front of Nooky? Goodness, how did I miss that?
ROGER: I may be mistaken....but I took it for "S" (lol). At any rate, I bet it was a good act.

Reminds me of that expression
of "having your picture taken"
In the musical "Guys & Dolls"
the nightclub girls were called
"The Hot Box Girls" (nuf said)
