ROBERT "SONNY" RIDLEY


 We have all lost an unsung "Salt Of The Circus"

 A trusted friend & keeper of several versions of Ringling herds

 Sonny died last Wednesday the 11th in Williston Florida

  He had spent his last years at "Two Tails Ranch" helping

  my dear friend Patricia "Patti" Zerbini with her 7 elephants

  He was just shy of his 79th birthday & died peacefully

  We that knew him were among the very fortunate

  May his soul rest in the peace he so well deserves

One could think that he was the fortunate one. He spent his long life with the elephants he loved, and passed in peace being near them until the end. One could say his life and passing were indeed a showman's dream.
