Welcome to Buckles Blog. This site is for the discussion of Circus History all over the world.
Tommy Bartlett's at Wisconsin Dells
My backyard.
Had the pleasure of meeting and seeing Michelangelo (Mike) Nock, Bello's brother and a nerveless sway pole performer in his own right. Event was the annual Norfolk, Virginia HarborFest, where Mike had produced a thrill attraction of several acts.
If the man on the ground @ L is say, 6' tall, my efforts at calculating the height of the poles is maybe 75' or so. Who knows for sure?
The bally says 80', but we all know how truthful bally scripts are.
I have known for sure that they have worked from 60' up to 110' (the highest)
