Nicolai Poliakoff OBE was the creator of Coco the Clown

The most famous clown in the UK during the 20th century

He was the 1st of his many family members to use "Coco"

The most recent 2 worked for Ron Morris at Spotlight Graphics

Born in Russia in October 1900 as Nikolai Petrovich Polyakov

He died in September of 1974

What does OBE stand for? For some I can think of, it would mean Old Before Everyone.

One can see I don't know my British honors. They gave one to Churchill for which he wore a specific garter--is that when he became Sir Winston?
