We can see her most often today in DeMille's THE TEN COMMANDMENTS, as Queen Nefertiri to Yul Brynner's Ramses. She enjoyed a long starring career. In 1985, she was walking along Madison Avenue in NYC, when she was stricken with a brain aneurysm. He family removed her from life support 8 days later. Ms. Baxter was 62.
