And the mother of Elizabeth Rebecca, aka Lizzie &/or Becca, who married Ernest Clarke. Their one child was Laura Elizabeth Clarke. The child's legal name was never Ernestine, but it became the name she was known for, in honor of her father. Most friends called her Ernie.

The name Elizabeth is found throughout the Hanneford-Clarke families.

Saw Nellie’s show in Hampton, VA two weekends ago. It’s a real circus with everything but big cats. Armando Loyal presented three Carson & Barnes elephants. I reminded him of watching his Mom teach him a running mount to horseback during my Williamsburg, VA date 20+ years ago. Not to be missed if Hanneford appears near to
blog readers.
