I've made a comfortable living

with smoke & mirrored balls

These are not mine however

The mirrors on this ball

have had their edges ground

to prevent a bloody mess

Only if it is permitted to inquire: Considering loading and unloading, handling onsite, and the usage demands of 2 to 3 shows a day--how are these mirrors attached?

There are (or at least were)

2 adhesives best suited for

the mirror application but

they both were a messy lot

I've mentioned before that

Martha Suarez was incredible

& very fast at mirroring

Somehow she was able not to

become encased in adhesive

3M made a rubber based glue

that worked mostly very well

but had no flexiblity when

hardened another was "Black

Magic" that was even worse

to clean up from but offered

slight resiliency for such

as the rolling globe shown

In any case care would be

required in such situations

I have a good stock of cut

& backed mirror in different

sizes that are available

(ain't gonna make no more)

The edge grinding mentioned

would be required for rolling
