I know it looks backwards

but this is the proper way

to hang a flag vertically

It does not look backwards to this former Boy Scout and veteran, all of whom I would hope should know that when the flag is hung the field of blue with stars should always be on the upper left, the same side as the heart of the viewer.

But if you are on the opposite side of the hang, the stars will be on the right.

The flag's position is based

on facing the primary public

Mounted from a center cluster

such as an arena jumbotron

3 or 4 flags shoud be hung

(or at least 2 back to back)
