Chic, You and others here need to write a book. I hate to think how many great stories and valuable tidbits of show info will be lost with the passing of the last circus and sideshow generation...
We need a Barbara/Buckles book and a Chic book and a Roger Smith book for us townies that never got the courage to run away and join the circus but could only achieve lot lice status.

After years of volunteers'
puttering & patching this
is the extremely sad state
of a famous rail car that
has been lost to history
The car's interior had been
gutted & burned years ago
She deserves a decent burial
Maybe she could be inducted
into the Circus Ring of Fame
Didn't the Woodcocks live in this car too?
Nope but maybe you're thinking
of the Hickory Creek but they
didn't live in that car either
Buckles mentioned that he had
done a trip or 2 on that car
I can't recall Buckles Blue
Show train car number but I
believe Frank & Barbara Perry
& also Elvin Bale lived in it
Perhaps Richard Reynolds might
know when the Jomar retired
What Ringling car is in the Ringling Circus Pavilion in Sarasota?
If you mean the Ringling Museum
it's the "Wisconsin" which was
only used by "Mr John" & Mabel
while the Jomar was being built
More was mentioned about both
of the cars yesterday under
"More Winter Quarters"
